Led by founder and principal architect Xichen Sun, the studio operates at the intersection of architecture, art, and real estate. International Expertise & Architectural Background
Xichen Sun brings a rich international background shaped by her upbringing in Shanghai and professional experience across leading global architecture firms. Her work reflects a unique blend of artistic sensitivity and technical precision.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and her master’s degree from Delft University of Technology. As a registered architect in the Netherlands, she has contributed to a wide range of international architectural projects before establishing Atelier NIRIS.
